Handmade, bronze pendant of an Egyptian cat. The bronze Egyptian cat measures 32mm by 21mm and the length of the necklace is 46cm. The necklace features an assortment of blue jasper, orange Jasper and carnelian semi precious stones. All measurements are approximate.

Cats were very important to the ancient Egyptians and were even considered to be demi-deities. Not only did they protect the crops and slow the spread of disease by killing rodents, they were also thought to be the physical form of the goddess Bastet. Bastet was the goddess of protection, pleasure, and the bringer of good health. She had the head of a cat and a slender female body.
Bastet was the daughter of Ra, sister of Sekhmet, the wife of Ptah, and the mother of Mihos. Since the Second Dynasty, Bastet was worshiped as a deity, most commonly in Lower Egypt. Her form and powers changed over the years.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products such as commissions or personalised items. Earrings due to hygiene reasons cannot be returned unless faulty. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Delivery times for bespoke orders will be agreed. Each order will be sent via Royal Mail or Evri using the tracked or tracked and signed service depending on value of order.
